This event is designed for players who love Mahjong and want to spend an afternoon meeting new friends, enjoying great food, and competing for fun prizes along the way.

Round One: Players will complete four tournament games. If your table finishes early, you're welcome to continue playing socially until score submission.

Awards & Recognition
Dust off your leg warmers, neon windbreakers, oversized blazers, acid-wash denim, or your favorite 80s-inspired outfit! We'd love to see everyone embrace the theme! Costumes are highly encouraged (but not required), and there may even be a special prize for best dressed.
Please Note: There is no formal instruction during this event. Prior Mahjong experience is required.
This tournament is intended for players who are comfortable reading the NMJL card, building hands independently, and playing without instructional assistance. While MSCJ instructors will be present to facilitate the event, gameplay instruction and strategy coaching will not be provided.
Tournament scoring will follow the current NMJL card and our interpretation of the official NMJL rules. Scores will be recorded after each round of play, and all tournament rulings made by Mahjong Social Club Jax staff are final.
Due to the planning and catering requirements associated with this event, refunds must be requested at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event date. Refund requests made within 14 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.
