Event Details:

• Please bring your 2026 NMJL card (let us know if you don’t have one)

  Open Play and Guided Play sessions are designed for players who already have a foundational understanding of American Mahjong and can independently read the NMJL card, build hands, and participate in gameplay.
  
  While instructors may be available to answer questions, provide strategy tips, clarify rules, and offer guidance during gameplay, these sessions are not intended to serve as beginner instruction or a substitute for Mahjong 101 or introductory lessons. Players who are brand new to Mahjong or who are not yet comfortable with the basic rules, Charleston, tile identification, card reading, and gameplay structure should register for a beginner class before attending Open Play or Guided Play.
  

  Mahjong Social Club Jax reserves the right to recommend a beginner class if a participant requires foundational instruction beyond the scope of the event.
  

  Please note: A $3.30 service and processing fee will be added to each registration at checkout. All registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, Mahjong Social Club Jax will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a transfer or rescheduling request; however, any such accommodation is at the sole discretion of Mahjong Social Club Jax and subject to availability.
